Commemorating Police Traffic Corps Anniversary, Directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Held Social Service Event and Book Launch

inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police celebrated the 66th anniversary of the Traffic Police Corps (Polantas) with several activities.

“We conduct the 66th Polantas anniversary with several activities such as blood donation, with more than 6,000 blood bags from all Polantas personnel, and also basic necessities distribution with more than 10,000 basic necessities packages”, Director of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yugo, said in the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Headquarter, Jakarta, on Thursday (23/9/21).

Besides held social service and humanitarian events, the Directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police also appreciated the Polantas personnel. The appreciation was given in the form of an extra monthly allowance to help the fallen Polantas when handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

Not only that, but the Directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police also inaugurated new office space and renovation on several spaces of the office.

“Today, we also inaugurate the renovation of office facilities such as Traffic Management Centre of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Blue Building of the Directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Law Enforcement Subdirectorate office, service room, and archiving room”, Director of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said.

The directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police has also launched the biography book. “We are launching a book titled ‘Sailing in the Middle of the Storm’, telling about the role of Directorate of Traffic of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police during handling Covid-19 from March 2020 during the Large-scale Social Restriction (PSBB), Community Activity Restriction Enforcement (PPKM), Crowd-free Night, Working Permit Checking, Antigen Swab Test, Homecoming Traffic Insulation, to the latest programme of Odd-Even Policies”, Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yugo said.
