Director of Registration and Identification of Traffic Police Corps of Indonesian National Police distributed basic necessities aid to Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) and Orphanages in Pamulang, South Tangerang. The activity was conducted to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the Police Traffic Corps (Polantas).
Director of Registration and Identification of Traffic Police Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Yusuf, said that this activity is a form of care from the Police institutions for the people affected by Covid-19. In total, 500 basic necessities aid packages will be distributed to five Pesantren, orphanages, and people in need.
“Such as Al Auliya orphanage of Pondok Petir, Depok, Al Kamilah Pesantren of Serua, Depok, Muallaf Cendekia Pesantren of Pamulang Indah, Pamulang, people in need in Pamulang Elok, Pondok Petir, Depok, and Al Muqorrobin Pesantren in Curug”, he said on Tuesday (21/9/21).
Director of Registration and Identification of Traffic Police Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Yusuf, stated that, before the pandemic, the anniversary celebrations were always identical with festivity. However, during the pandemic, all activities are for distribution to help people in need.
“Wish us the best. That in this 66th anniversary of Polantas may bring traffic police into more forward, more able to provide protection, beneficiary, and service to the people. We wish to be continuously supported. Wish us luck”, he explained.
During the same occasion, the Head of the 14th Citizen Association of Pamulang Elok, Suhanto, thanked the Police Brigadier General Yusuf. Suhanto also wished that people and Police could hand in hand.
“In the context of the 66th Polantas anniversary, I wish you to be glorious and always cohesive in coordination with the community. God willing, people trust the Police more, and Police is getting better in the future and being advanced. I wish everyone to stay healthy and glory to the Police forever”,
