inp.polri.go.id – Merauke. Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Wakapolri), Pol. General Commissioner Gatot Eddy Pramono, and his entourage carried out a working visit to review the Hangar Venue and activities to accelerate vaccination in Merauke Regency on Tuesday (09/21).
Previously, the Deputy Chief of National Police made a working visit in Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency and then continued his visit to Merauke Regency to review the Hangar Venue and accelerated vaccination activities.
For the information, the implementation of National Sports Week XX 2021 in Papua, especially in the Merauke Cluster, consists of 5 venues and six sports, including the Katapal Stadium for Women’s Football, Hiad Say Sport avenue for Wrestling and Wushu, Arcleaus Say Building for Hangar, Sweesbel Hotel for Chess. And the Chocolate Garden Circuit for the Road Race and motorcycle cross.
Meanwhile, during the pick-up process, the Deputy Chief of National Police and his entourage were greeted with a traditional Papuan dance attended by the Head of the Merauke Resort Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Untung Sangaji, Regional Leadership Coordination Forum and the principal officers of the Merauke Resort Police and the Merauke Mobile Brigade Unit.
During his review, the Deputy Chief of National Police had a dialogue with residents who carried out vaccinations and provided food packages.
Merauke Deputy Chief of Resort Police, Police Commissioner Leonardo Yoga, said that Merauke Regency had implemented 67% of the acceleration of Covid-19 vaccination. Furthermore, we will continue to promote this vaccination until it reaches 70%.
