inp.polri.go.id – Manado. The Head of the North Sulawesi Regioonal Police and his ranks will again hold Operation Obedience Samrat 2021. This operation will be held for 14 days, starting from September 20 to October 3, 2021.
Implementing the 2021 Samrat Obedient Operation begins with the Troop Title, led by the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Nana Sujana, was attended by the Deputy Chief of the North Sulawesi Regional Police, Brigadier General. Pol. Jhonny Edison Isir, Head of the North Sulawesi Raharja Service Branch, Head of North Sulawesi Transportation Service and Head of North Sulawesi Municipal Police, Monday (09/20/21).
According to the North Sulawesi Rregional Police Chief, there are two main targets in this operation: people who do not comply with health protocols and people who are not disciplined in traffic. “In this operation, we prioritize pre-emptive, preventive, persuasive and humane activities,” said the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.
In the last one month, he said, data showed the number of positive confirmations of Covid-19 patients in North Sulawesi Province experienced a downward trend. Likewise, traffic accidents in the last three months decreased by 48% compared to the previous period.
“We must not be careless and continue to adapt to the developing situation so as not to turn into a situation that regresses the efforts that have been made previously,” said the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.
The North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief hopes that officers in the field can prioritize activities that can create public sympathy, including carrying out guidance and counselling on the importance of health protocols and efforts to support the national vaccination program, providing education and information as well as building awareness of traffic order to the community and implementing publication of orderly traffic and the importance of health protocols through mass media and social media.
In this operation, the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief and the North Sulawesi Resort Departemental Police deployed approximately 602 personnel assisted by personnel from Joint Military Police Command of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Jasa Raharja, Transportation Service and Municipal Police.
