Banten Regional Police conducts analysis and evaluation related to applying electronic tickets or ETLE in the Banten area.
Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Silitonga said that from the evaluation results from April 1 to August 31, 2021, the Directorate of Traffic Security of Banten Regional Police had ticketed 9,025 vehicles.
“The most tickets were carried out in April 2021, which was 4,509 tickets,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police explained that the violations recorded by the Banten Regional Police’s ETLE from all points were 67,703, but 10,249 copies of the confirmation letter were sent. Of this number, 3,134 letters were responded to by the violators directly, and 2,136 were responded to via the ETLEBANTEN.INFO website, all of which issued a collection of fines for violations.
“And as of August 31, 2021, as many as 5,859 violators have paid fines for e-tickets either through BRIVA or Billing SIMPONI,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police.
However, the Banten Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffic Security also filed a total of 6,925 blocks for License Number violators who did not respond to the confirmation letter sent by the Banten Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffic Security Officers, BantenRegional Police’s Head of Public Relations, Monday (09/20/2021).
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police stated that there were 8,232 black plate vehicles, 20 yellow plate vehicles, and 198 red plates of the types of vehicles ticketed.
The types of violations are dominated by violators who don’t use seat belts as many as 8,294, using 156 HP, 456 not wearing helmets, 88 road marking violations, and 31 excess passengers.
“National Police continues to innovate in improving services to the community, one of which is ETLE. With the existence of ETLE, we can supervise the community on the highway, which aims to bring order to the community,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police also reminded all people in the Banten Regional Police jurisdiction to always obey traffic rules.
“In the jurisdiction of the Banten Regional Police, there are 5 ETLE camera points, namely at the Pisang Mas Intersection, the Pecung Sumur Quarter, the Ciceri Intersection and the camera checkpoint on the Pantura road. For that, I appeal to the entire community to always obey traffic signs and obey driving rules,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police.
