Starting today, Banten Regional Police will hold Operation 2021 Maung Obedient

Ery Nursatari led the implementation of the 2021 Obedient Maung Operations Troop, which was held at the Banten Police Field on Monday (09/20). In his remarks, the Banten Regional Police Deputy emphasized that Banten Regional Police personnel understand the goals and how to act in Operation Obedient Maung 2021.

The operation was held to help accelerate the handling of Covid-19 by reducing the potential for community activities that could lead to the emergence of new clusters of Covid-19, explained the Deputy Head of the Banten Regional Police.

The Banten Deputy Police Chief also added that attention to Covid-19 is to prioritize the Nnational Armed Forces, National Police and Department of Transportation ft. Municipal Police with humanitarian operations and education on traffic order.

“Maintain to socialize health procedures and distribute masks when traffic is heavy, officers carry backpacks filled with masks and distribute at the same time education about health procedures in an empathetic way, health care discipline and traffic discipline will be internalized and become a culture, there should be no extortion in operating activities, try to be firm and humane in taking action because the accident occurred was preceded by a violation,” said the Deputy Chief of Regional Police.

Banten Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffici Security, Pol. Grand Commissioner Rudi Purnomo, after the Troop Title, explained what the primary targets in operation were. Operation Obedient Maung 2021 will last for 14 days until October 3, 2021, with four targets.

“First, personnel will focus on suppressing all forms of community activities that have the potential to cause new clusters of Covid-19,” explained the Banten Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffic Security. The hope is that this activity can break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in the Banten area and prevent crowds from occurring.

“The next target is to discipline people who don’t obey health protocols; of course, the discipline is carried out firmly but still humanely,” explained the Banten Regional Police Directorate of Traffic Security.

This is important so that the people of Banten can cultivate 5M in carrying out their daily activities. Furthermore, the Banten Reggional Police’s Directorate of Trafficc Security explained that Operation Obedience Maung 2021 would also focus on taking action against various traffic violations, such as going against the flow, not wearing a helmet, incomplete vehicle administration, using mobile phones while driving, and others.

“With traffic discipline, security, safety, order, and smooth traffic will be created,” said the Banten Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffic Security.

The enforcement of traffic discipline is carried out with the presence of personnel and empowers technological advances through electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE), which has been adopted at 4 points in the Banten Regional Police jurisdiction.

Finally, the target of the operation is to facilitate traffic flow and reduce the number of traffic accidents by empowering personnel at points prone to traffic jams and prone to traffic accidents.

“The presence of personnel in vulnerable locations is expected not only to facilitate traffic flow but also reduce the number of traffic accidents and fatalities due to accidents,” explained the Banten Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffic Security.
