Both of which is for the community’s welfare. “The PLBN would be inaugurated by the President of Indonesia and, once opened, there would be cross-borders that may result in the disturbance of community security and order”, he said.

“Restorative Justice must be prioritised by the three law enforcement agencies in the Republic of Indonesia. The Sota PLBN also has to be secure because this is Indonesia’s border post. Minister of Home Affairs and I would report this to Mr President that the inauguration of PLBN could be conducted in October”, he said.

Minister of Home Affairs said that the acceleration of the expansion of Papua province would be commenced. One of them is the South Papua province, consisting of the Merauke regency, Boven Digoel regency, Mappi regency, and Asmat regency. The designated province capital would be Merauke.

“We will revise Law of Special Autonomy of Papua. In Papua, there has to be development acceleration. This region would be expanded into South Papua province. Even though the planned province only consisting of four regencies, this is the special case for Papua”, he concluded.
