Alleviate the Burden of Pandemic-affected Residents, PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police Distributed 1,000 Basic Necessities Packages

inp.polri.go.id – Surabaya. PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police and the journalist representatives distributed 1,000 basic necessities packages spread across regions of Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, and Pasuruan. The distribution was conducted door-to-door.

Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, said that for distribution in Pasuruan, Police is coordinating with Prigen subdistrict officials.

“We distributed door-to-door in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik by ourselves. For Pasuruan, we are coordinating with Prigen subdistrict office. The distribution is arranged by the Prigen subdistrict officials and Prigen Sectoral Police. As a sign, we are only conducting a ceremonial event by distributing to some residents in the Prigen subdistrict office”, the Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police explained on Saturday (11/9/21).

Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police hoped that the little bit of help could alleviate people’s burden in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and people are still in high spirits with the recent conditions, implementing strict Health Protocols, and do not afraid to get vaccinated.

“Vaccine is important to protect ourselves from Covid-19. Therefore, do not be afraid to get vaccinated. Let’s support the government through the PeduliLindungi programme”, Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police concluded.
