Papua – The KOTEKA Programme (Communication with Traditional, Religious, Community, and Political Elites) is one of the state’s efforts in developing good relationships in the nation and state between the elements in the government traditional entities, community, and religious bodies in Papua region. This programme focuses on togetherness/gemeenschap values.
Just like the togetherness of the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of Nemangkawi Operation led by the Police Inspector 2nd Class Fransiskus Maraya and Police Inspector 2nd Class S P Sahetapy, the Chief of Samapta Unit and other six Police members. On Monday, September 6, 2021, at 10.15 a.m., at the front yard of GKI Yudea Waghete I Church, Tigi district, Deiyai regency, there is a religious ceremony on the inauguration and ordination of the GKI Yudea Waghete Church by the Head of Workers Unit of Am Sinode GKI of the Land of Papua, Rev. Andrikus Mofu.
The event was also attended by religious figures such as Rev Lensi Larenaung and the Chieftain, Yosep Mote. In the middle of the conversation with the religious figure, the Chieftain, Yosep Mote, said, “GKI Yudea Waghete Church is our church, so let’s take part in this inauguration ceremony so the activity could run smoothly and safely and also let’s maintain the church as the place of worship and communicating with God”.
The event was also attended by Regent of Deiyai regency, Ateng Edowai; Head of Regional People’s Representative Assembly of Deiyai regency, Petrus Badokapa; Head of Am Sinode GKI Board of Papua, Andrikus Mofu with another eight people from the Sinode Workers Board; Head of the Classis of Nabire, Rev Linda Upesi with all ten classis workers; Commander of the Deiyai 1703 Military District, Cavalry Lieutenant Colonel Hartowibowo; Deputy Chief of Deiyai Departmental Police, Police Commissioner Marem Mantoro; and the pastors of Nabire’s GKI Classis.
