inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police, in cooperation with Jasa Raharja Ltd, synergising the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) into JRKu application so that the information and notification on traffic violation observed by the ETLE could be known real-time through the JRKu application.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the Chief of Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono and the Operational Director of Jasa Raharja Ltd, Dewi Aryani Suzana, in Bali.
“Through the synergic cooperation between ETLE with JRKu mobile application owned by Jasa Raharja, the driver would be easier in knowing the traffic violation information in an instant such as location, types of violation, date of violation, and image evidence from the CCTV/ The JRKu application would also provide information on how to pay the electronic ticket”, the Director of Jasa Raharja Ltd, Rivan Achmad Purwantono, in a written statement on Friday (3/9/2021).
Besides providing easiness on information for the drivers, Rivan stated that the Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police would also benefit from this cooperation, such as information speed and efficiency and data access for the vehicles that have paid the tax. He also guarantees data security because of the data access encryption so it cannot be read by the unauthorised person.
Meanwhile, the Operational Director of Jasa Raharja Ltd, Dewi Aryani Suzana, added that the JRKu application users could check their validity period of vehicle tax (PKB) and traffic accident mandatory fund (SWDKLLJ) and also get the additional protection insurance from Jasa Raharja Putera. He deemed that the JRKu application has been used for the application of traffic accident compensation by online and knowing the traffic routes, including accident-prone locations.
On the other side, Chief of Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono, warmly welcomed this synergy. He stated that, at the moment, the first stage of the ETLE system had been implemented in 12 Regional Police in 244 locations, and another Regional Police would follow on the second stage.
“We warmly welcomed this cooperation because it provides the benefit of easiness for the drivers. The information on violation notification would be sent to the installed JRKu application and email of the verified user, so the process is more efficient and reducing fees on ticket delivery”, he concluded.
The 244 locations of stage 1 ETLE are 98 locations under the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, 5 locations under the Riau Regional Police, 55 locations under the East Java Regional Police, 10 locations under the Central Java Regional Police, 16 locations under the South Sulawesi Regional Police, 21 locations under the West Java Regional Police, 8 locations under the Jambi Regional Police, 10 locations under the West Sumatra Regional Police, 4 locations under the Yogyakarta Special Region Regional Police, 5 locations under the Lampung Regional Police, 11 locations under the North Sulawesi Regional Police, and 1 location under the Banten Regional Police.
As information, the signing ceremony was also attended by the Regional Revenue Director of Ministry of Home Affairs, Hendriwan; Business Director of IFG Group, Pantro Pander Silitonga; and President Director of Jasa Raharja Ltd, Rivan Achmad Purwantono.
