To support the government’s program to make the government’s vaccination program a success, the Mobile Brigade Corps of Indonesian National Police held a Covid-19 vaccination targeting 38,000 students at Setia Negara Vocational School (SMK), Depok City, West Java, Saturday (28/08/2021).
Commander of Mobile Brigade Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Anang Revandoko, said that this activity is a program from the Indonesian National Police institution to make the government vaccination program a success, entitled Goes To School Vaccination Outlet, in collaboration with the Depok City Education Office. It is hoped that through this vaccination activity, the government’s plan to hold face-to-face learning in September 2021 will be successful. And today’s vaccination targets are Vocational School (SMK) students and disabilities.
“Today’s vaccination target at SMK Setia Negara Depok is 5,835 doses consisting of 5,800 vocational students and 300 students with disabilities. It is hoped that this mass vaccination activity can achieve the total target of all vocational students and students with disabilities in the Depok City area of ​​38,000 students. Hopefully, This vaccination activity is running smoothly so that it can support face-to-face learning activities,” concluded the Commander of Mobile Brigade Corps of Indonesian National Police.
This activity was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, virtually. In his remarks, Jokowi said that this activity was carried out simultaneously in West Java. Jokowi said there were 2,326 vaccination points for students spread across West Java.
