inp.polri.go.id – Serang. Tanto, a 46-year-old man from West Bayah, Bayah district, Lebak regency, was summoned by Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, to Banten Regional Police Headquarter on Friday (27/08/2021).
Tanto was viral on social media due to his wandering around villages, pleading to the locals to give him secondhand uniforms for his children for the upcoming offline school.
Regarding his story, Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, instruct his subordinates to summon the man from Lebak regency.
The arrival of Tanto and his children at the Banten Regional Police Headquarter was warmly welcomed by Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, because they are one of the honoured guests of Banten Regional Police.
Tanto’s story is inspiring because, without any shame, he was willing to go around the village to ask for secondhand uniforms from the people so his children could go to school. The proverb “father’s love is as long as time” really fits Tanto. His unconditional love for his children’s future is answered by another kind of love by the Chief of Banten Regional Police.
Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, felt proud to watch Tanto’s struggle so Tanto’s children could go to school.
“Tanto’s spirit is extraordinary. He was willing to go around the village to look for secondhand uniforms so his children could go to offline school. This struggle must be appreciated and imitated”, Chief of Banten Regional Police said.
Meanwhile, Chief of PR and Press Agency of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Silitonga, said that to realise Tanto’s struggle for his children, Chief of Banten Regional Police gave some aids to Tanto.
“Chief of Banten Regional Police really appreciated Tanto’s struggle. Therefore, as a form of care to Tanto, Chief of Banten Regional Police gave aids to Tanto to help his struggles for his children”, Chief of PR and Press Agency of Banten Regional Police said.
“Chief of Banten Regional Police gave him cash, school supplies, and basic necessities. We hope this aid could be beneficial for Tanto and his family”, Chief of PR and Press Agency of Banten Regional Police concluded.
