The Indonesian National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, supported the continuation of League 1 and League 2021/2022 on the condition that the organization of the leagues still adhered to health protocols.

League 1 and League 2021/2022 will last for one season from July 2021 to March 2022. The National Police will conduct periodic evaluations of the implementation and enforcement of the process.
The following are the types of health protocols for League 1 and League 2021/2022 based on the guidelines issued by Football Association of Indonesia and PT. Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB):

Football Association of Indonesia and PT. Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) require every club participating in League 1 2021/2022 to submit internal rules or Code of Conduct related to the implementation of the Health Protocol. The rules must accompany the health protocols that apply to daily operations, independent training, arrivals and departures of players, and match preparation.
Before the competition and before going to the venue or match cluster in each series, all players and club officials who will enter the bubble system are required to do an independent PCR test and if there is a negative one, they are allowed to travel to the venue or cluster.

While staying at hotel venue in a semi-bubble system, each club must follow the health protocols set by PT Liga Indonesia Baru ( LIB ). This includes the obligation to report to the LIB COVID Task Force and the LIB Compliance Officer regarding the movement of official players in the hotel area when there is no match.

Each club must have a separate breakfast, lunch and evening and meeting area from general hotel visitors and other club officials if they are in the same hotel so as not to cause crowds.

Prior to the match, each Club must ensure that all players and officials wear ID Cards released by LIB when the antigen swab test is carried out during H-1 activity, and match day. The use of masks must be applied in all activities except when players are playing on the field or warming up.

Players who are registered in the Line-up List (DSP), but as a reserve are still required to wear masks in all stadium areas. Each club must ensure that no other personnel are on board the player’s bus to and from the stadium.
