inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The National Armed Forces and National Police apparatus will tighten security in the Papua region following the Armed Criminal Group, terrorist group who threatened to shoot dead immigrants or non-Papuans working on Papua.
Chief of Community Handling Bureau, National Police’s Public Relation Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said that his party is trying optimally to provide peace in Papua from the threat of the Armed Criminal Terrorist Group.
What is clear is that when looking at disturbances like this, the National Armed Forces and National Police continue to work optimally. How can these disturbances be handled properly, said Chief of Community Handling Bureau on Tuesday (06/08/2021).
Chief of Community Handling Bureau asked the public not to worry about the threat of security disturbances to the Papuan Armed Criminal Group. According to him, the National Armed Forces and National Police will deal with various threats in Papua.
“It will definitely be like that, when there is a disturbance, the National Armed Forces and National Police together with other agencies will handle the disturbance,” said Chief of Community Handling Bureau.
For information, the West Papua National Liberation Army – Free Papua Organization (TPNPB-OPM) gave an ultimatum to migrants or non-Indigenous Papuans (OAP) working in the Papua.

The conflict areas referred to are Puncak Papua, Intan Jaya, and Ndugama.
