inp.polri.go.id. – Jakarta. The Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, opens the Indonesia National Police Development Plan (Musrenbang) at the National Police Headquarters Rupatama, Jakarta, Tuesday (6/8).
In his speech, the Chief of Indonesia National Police emphasised that the Musrenbang is the right momentum for the Indonesia National Police to consolidate as a way to establish the direction of Indonesia National Police development and support national development programs to recover the economy and structural reforms.
“The government has held the 2021 National Musrenbang (Musrenbangnas), which is a planning mechanism to bring together the proposed plans or needs (bottom-up planning) with what is programmed by the government (top-down planning),” the Chief of Indonesia National Police explained.
Planning continued the Chief of Indonesia National Police is like a chef in cooking delicious dishes before serving to satisfy customers. For this reason, through this Musrenbang, the Chief of Indonesia National Police hopes to produce various kinds of constructive suggestions and inputs to be taken into consideration in determining the direction of Indonesia National Police development and within the framework of assisting the government’s economic recovery efforts.
The Chief of Indonesia National Police also emphasised that the main focus of the Government’s 2022 work plan is to control Covid-19 by accelerating vaccination towards herd immunity along with health system reform by increasing health security and resilience.
“The year 2022 is expected to be the first year for Indonesia to be free from the Covid pandemic and the year to stabilise economic recovery,” the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Indonesia National Police said.
On the other hand, the Chief of Indonesia National Police reminded me about the police transformation to Presisi (predictability, responsibility and fair transparency) Police. Not limited only to only 100 days of work programs, but also through to Phase II and Phase III of Strategic Work Programs (PKS).
