In pushing traffic regulations obedience in Aceh province, the Directorate of Traffic Corps of Aceh Regional Police holds a discussion forum with various institutions about the research on Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) on traffic in the Hall of Directorate of Traffic Corps of Aceh Regional Police, Lamteumen, Banda Aceh, on Monday (07/06).
Director of Traffic Corps of Aceh Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Dicky Sondani, said that this activity could not be separated from the Chief of Aceh Regional Police’s hope on the recommendation of traffic obedience research conducted by the Directorate of Traffic Corps of Aceh Regional Police and Police Science Centre of Syiah Kuala University.
The Director of Traffic Corps of Aceh Regional Police admitted that this activity is not just suddenly born out of nowhere, but conducted based on research of Traffic Obedience Survey (SKBL).
“In the beginning, Chief of Aceh Regional Police saw many traffic accidents in Aceh. Even several times, he witnessed public disobedience towards the traffic regulations. Therefore, he asked us to research the reason for Aceh’s traffic regulation disobedience. It triggered the creation of SKBL”, Director of Traffic Corps of Aceh Regional Police said.
