Avoiding Further Covid-19 Transmission, Central Java Regional Police Prepares Water Cannon for Disinfectant Spraying

inp.polri.go.id – Semarang. Six water cannons are deployed to do total disinfection in some parts of Kudus city.

Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, stated that public space disinfection conducted by joint forces of armed forces and police is a part of contingency management of Covid-19 handling in Central Java.

The disinfection is to avoid Covid-19 attaching in places or utilities in public places.

“The second management is on the preemptive effort by armed forces and police through utilising all information vehicles from the Information bureaus of Regional Armed Forces and PR and Press Division of Central Java Regional Police and other 27 important vehicles to inform, appeal, and encourage the Health Protocol adherence and pamphlet spreading in all districts of Kudus”, Chief of Central Java Regional Police said.

The activity is expected to educate the public that Covid-19 still exists so the people will adhere to Health Protocols.

The third steps of contingency management are sending military and police doctors in accelerating swab test, tracing, and tracking of Covid-19 in Kudus to map the affected district.

The fourth steps are that Armed Forces and Police doctors will also be deployed to corpse funeral besides accelerating swab test, tracing, and tracking Covid-19. Therefore, Armed Forces and Police will always be ready if people asked for burial assistance.
