Inp.polri.go.id – Medan. North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General R. Z. Panca Putra ordered to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination for North Sumatra Regional Police personnel on duty in regional units.
This was conveyed by the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief through the Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police’s Medic and Health Division, Pol. Grand Commissioner Agustinus, Saturday (06/05/21). Acceleration of Covid-19 vaccination for North Sumatra Regional Police personnel and ranks as a form of Police support and commitment to the success of the government’s program to stop the spread of Covid-19. Of the 20,142 North Sumatran Regional Police personnel whom had vaccined at Vaccine 1, 18,675 and vaccine 2: 16,924.
“The North Sumatra Regional Police Chief has given orders to the Medic and Health’s Division and the ranks to speed up Covid-19 vaccination process for personnel, of course, they will continue to coordinate with the District/City Health Offices in each region. There are personnel who are constrained by health conditions or [ost-Covid conditions that have not been carried out, the vaccination process will continue to be maximized, so that in the not too distant future, members of the North Sumatra Regional Police and Civil Servants could receive the Covid-19 Vaccination,” added the Chairman of North Sumatran Regional Police’s Medic and Health Division.
“Even the Regional Police Chief also reminded the personnel to maintain health protocols because currently North Sumatra is enforcing the implementation of Micro Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) for Micro and Operation Yustisi so that personnel meet more often with the community. We hope that the rate of decline in the number of COVID-19 in North Sumatra could occur significantly in the future. From the data we have received, there are several areas that have become red zones, therefore they must be in joint attention,” concluded the Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police.
