Central Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi attended the launching of 100 thousand houses which was inaugurated simultaneously by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, via streaming from the Bumi Foldik Bhayangkara housing complex, Banten (06/04).
The Central Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi and other main officials attended the event at the Griya Bumi housing estate, Mojosongo, Boyolali, as well as symbolically inaugurated the provision of a thousand houses for civil servants to the National Police (PNPP).
Through a video conference, the National Police Chief stated that the provision of housing for the Indonesian National Police’s extended family is part of the National Police Chief’s Priority Program, which is to improve the welfare of members. “To achieve this goal, we are collaborating with several banks to provide credit for the provision of housing for members,” explained the National Police Chief.
The National Police Chief also said that there were four credit-giving banks that participated in guarding the provision of housing for these members. “Currently there are 33.7 percent of members who do not have a house. As leaders, we are trying to get them to have a house as soon as possible. Considering that housing is one of the basic human needs,” said the National Police Chief.
He added that apart from helping provide housing, another effort to improve the welfare of the National Police Chief is to provide intensive treatment for sick members and encourage retired personnel to become entrepreneurs. “In addition, we are collaborating with banks so that retired personnel can be facilitated in developing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Meanwhile, Pol. Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi in a press conference stated that at the Central Java Regional Police alone, there are currently thousand houses built for National Police members. “We cooperate with thirteen developers and four guarantee banks. The Central Java Police are also cooperating with Asabri Housing to provide a down payment program,” said the Regional Police Chief.
The Two-Star General also added that the provision of housing will continue so that the fulfillment of member welfare is achieved. In addition, the Regional Police Chief emphasized that housing construction will not only improve the welfare of National Police personnel, but also to stimulate the people’s economy. “We know that building housing is multi-player.
