inp.polri.go.id. – Jakarta. Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Inspector General Muhammad Fadil Imran, said the health workers in charge during insulation and reverse flow operations are heroes of humanity.
“You all are heroes of humanity. Thank you and highest appreciation for the hard work and dedication that you have devoted with sincerity in the 2021 Ketupat Jaya Ops,” the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said.
The Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police awarded 149 health workers consisting of 88 personnel of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, 50 Indonesian National Armed Forces personnel, and 11 health partners. Police Inspector General Muhammad Fadil Imran admitted their duty as a health worker in the insulation of homecoming and reverse flow is not easy.
“I can feel the physical condition and the patience of my health workers fellow dealing with homecomers with various behaviours and attitudes,” he explained.
Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police noted that around 1.5 million residents of Jakarta and its surroundings were desperate to go home, so that it has the potential to cause a surge in Covid-19 numbers after Eid. However, this can be prevented by the anticipatory steps from the Indonesian National Police, Indonesian National Armed Forces, and local government.
“However, the steps that we have taken Praise to the Lord, until now the positive cases of Covid-19 in Jakarta and its surroundings are relatively controllable, although it has increased. Currently, there has been an improvement,” The Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police concluded.
Overall, Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, together with Kodam(Military Area Command) Jaya and the Jakarta Metropolitan Government, managed to capture 933 homecomings who were indicated positive for Covid-19 based on the results of the antigen swab test during reverse flow from the insulation point and at the community base.
“The Indonesian National Armed Forces and Indonesian National Police are the frontlines in responding to Covid-19 pandemic. With the synergy we build, we hope in the future the pandemic will end, and the national economy will recover so our nation will be secured,” as said by the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Chief.
