Regional Police Aris Budiman, accompanied by High Rank Executive of Riau Islands Regional Police, Chief of Barelang City Resort Police, Military District Command (Dandim) 0316 and Vice Major of Bata monitored PPKM Post (a post to ensure restriction of community activity) and red zones in Batam City, Wednesday (05/26/21).
The activity was carried out to increase community awareness and directly monitored the 3T implementation. 3T is abbreviation of Testing, Tracing, and Treatment.
“There several areas visited by the Chief of Riau Island Regional Police today. They are PPKM post at Puri Selebrity housing complex, Batu Besar, Nongsa District Batam City, PPKM post located at Permata Baloi and Baloi Mas Indah, Lubuk Baja Batam City,” as explained by the Head of Public Affairs of Riau Islands Regional Police Police Grand Commissioner Harry Goldenhardt S.
By referring to regional data, Head of Public Affairs Division of Riau Islands Regional Police, overall Batam City is in red zone, except Bulang District that is now in yellow zone.
“Only Bulang District is in the yellow zone. That’s why we remind the whole community, to strictly follow the health protocol with 5M steps and task force team will monitor 3T implementation. Riau Islands Regional Police along with all Resort Police will also spray disinfectants regularly,” as said by Harry Goldenhardt S.
Head of Public Affairs Division of Riau Islands Regional Police said, in the monitoring activity, Chief of Riau Island Regional Police also directly monitored the vaccination activity in Balerang City Resort Regional Police.
“Chief of Regional Police directly monitored vaccination activity in Balerang City Resort. Today there are 530 vaccinnes with the target of 500 people and now there has been 300 people. The activity is still on going until 17:00 Indonesia Western Time. The vaccine is prioritized for retired offiers and elderly. The activity was carried out in Balerang City Resort Police. People need to bring their identity card and the copy to be vaccinated,” as he mentioned.
Chief of Riau Islands Regional Police, Police Inspector General Aris Budiman reminded people who were infected by Covid-19 to immediately get medical attention.
“We suggest to every PPKM Post, to people with Covid-19 to immediately get medical attention by bringing them to Asrama Haji, Batam Ceter, because the Task Force has prepared all required facilities, doctor and medical devices. With the fast response, it is much more easier to detect and monitor people who are infected by Covid-19,” Aris Budiman mentioned.
