The North Sumatra Regional Police Finds 20 Peoples at a Covid-19 Insulation Post for Positive Patients.

inp.polri.go.id – Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police found 20 people caught in an insulation post confirmed to be Covid-19 after undergoing an antigen swab test. The Chief of Regional Police also ordered an extension of the Insulation through Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) and tightened Insulation rules.

“The North Sumatra Regional Police and their ranks have carried out antigen swab checks on 2,343 random road users who crossed the insulating posts from May 18-24, 2021. The North Sumatra Regional Police extended the Lockdown Post at the provincial and regencies/city borders in North Sumatra until May 30. 2021,” explained the North Sumatra Regional Police’s Head of PR.

The North Sumatra Regional Police’s Head of PR said that during the insulation extension, the personnel on duty at the Lockdown Post obliged to carry out examinations of people who were coming in and out of North Sumatra. These checks include checking body temperature and antigen swabs that are randomly performed toward civilians on the road.

“Examinations are not only carried out at the insulation post but also in tourist areas to minimise the spread of Covid-19,” concluded the North Sumatra Regional Police’s Head of PR.
