Inp.polri.go.id-JAKARTAÂ – Chief of National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, accepted the audience from the Minister of Rural Affairs, Development of Underdeveloped Regions, and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar in Headquarters of Indonesian National Police, South Jakarta, Tuesday (25/5/2021).
During the audience, Sigit ensures that all police personnel will assist and educate the village heads related to village fund usage.
“There would be education by the National Police to the village heads related to the village fund usage. If there are any fund misappropriations, there would be sanctions”, Sigit said in his written statement.
According to Sigit, the assistance and education of the village funds usage are conducted by the police to ensure proper implementation and benefits for the villagers.
“We will provide assistance, so people have the right and protected business. (We need a) dissemination programme for all village heads by video Vccon. Please optimise it, and we will assist it”, Sigit said.
Besides the appropriate usage, Sigit also said that the assistance is conducted to minimise funds misappropriation potentials.
The former Chief of the Criminal Resort Agency of the Indonesian National Police also said that all related parties could also utilise the Binmas Online System (BOS) apps in overseeing the village funds usage. The apps itself is strengthening the Presisi (predictive, responsibility, transparency, and just) programme of the Chief of National Police.
“This is the potential that needs to be kept. Do not let it become a part of the state’s loss. Please utilise the BOS apps from the Community Police Officers (Bhabinkamtibmas)”, the Former Chief of Banten Regional Police said.
Meanwhile, Mendes PDTT Abdul Halim Iskandar expresses his appreciation to the army and police who have been actively involved and helping the ministry conduct government programmes for the public.
“Thank you for the support in supervising and assisting the distribution of Direct Cash Aid (BLT) by the community police and army officers. We are confident about the BLT distribution due to assistance from police and the army,” Abdul Halim said.
He also asked for support on assistance and supervision on 2022’s village funds on 74,481 villages. Furthermore, Abdul Halim stated that villages with tourism potentials need assistance and overseeing from the National Police.
“We are asking for the support for assistance and oversee of the 2022 village fund. There are tourism villages that need to be coordinated with the National Police”, Abdul Halim concludes.
