North Maluku Regional Police Visits Antigen Test Post in Semut Harbour, Ternate.

Inp.polri.go.id Ternate. The operations and raids of the North Maluku Regional Police and its staff continue to find quite high smuggling and circulation of alcohol.

Responding to this, the Chief of North Sumatra’s Regional Police, Pol. Inspector General Risyapudin Nursin, through the Head of PR, declared war on the circulation and smuggling of illegal liquor.

“The North Maluku Regional Police Chief has ordered all ranks to carry out raids on places that are suspected of being location points for buying and selling liquor, especially liquor that does not have a license,” said the Chief of North Maluku Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Adip Rojikan on Tuesday (05/25/2021) .

Head of PR emphasized that the police will take firm action against producers who continue to manufacture Cap Tikus liquor. In fact, if there are law enforcement officers involved in this illegal business, they will be prosecuted.

According to Head of PR, the role of all parties is needed in the prevention and eradication of liquor in North Maluku, given geographic location of its area which has islands and many small ports that are lacking from the monitoring of the authorities.
Regional Polce invites all elements of society to care for the younger generation, because there have been many incidents that have started from drinking liquor such as fights between youths, tarkam and others.

“Let’s together fight against the circulation of Liquor in North Maluku, especially Cap Tikus,” Requests the Head of PR.

The smuggling and distribution of Liquor, further said by Head of PR, were also found in sea transportation services, namely by ship, therefore the Regional Police also invited related agencies to be more selective in checking sea transportation before making trips in and out of North Maluku.

The same message also goes to the crew of passenger or cargo ships, in order to strengthen supervision and to be more selective in accepting cargo of goods so that no illegal cargo can be found.

“Let us together prevent the use and distribution of Liquor in North Maluku for the sake of creating a conducive social security situation and the nation’s next generation,” explained the Head of PR.
