The Anti-Land Mafia Task Force Determines 61 Suspects from 37 Cases in Numerous Regional Police’s Area.

inp.polri.go.id. – Jakarta. Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) from National Police’s Crime Investigation Unit Agency, Pol. Brigadier General Andi Rian said that from February to May 21, 2021, the Anti – Land Mafia Task Force had named 61 suspects from 37 land cases included in the Indonesian National Police Chief’s first 100 working days program, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

 

“So, there have been 37 cases with a total of 61 suspects,” explained Director of General Crimes ( Dirtipidum ), Monday (05/24).

 

Director of General Crime details, as many as 39 suspects, along with evidence from the handling of 18 cases handled by the Anti – Land Mafia Task Force, has been transferred to the public prosecutor. Then, his team has also submitted seven investigation files on land cases to the investigating prosecutor.

 

Director of General Crimes added, there were 11 cases that the Police were still investigating. In the dozens of cases, the investigation team has named 22 suspects.

 

“There is one case in Notification Later 3 (terminated) for the sake of law,” he added.

 

The National Police of Anti – Land Mafia Task Force targets to settle land mafia cases throughout Indonesia by 2021. Case investigations will be carried out by the Anti – Land Mafia Task Force located in each Regional Police’s area. So, the completion will adjust to the location of the case itself.

 

So far, the one-star general said, 89 cases must be resolved by the National Police by the end of 2021. Moreover, the resolution of land issues is included in the Chief of National Police’s 100 priority programs.

 

Furthermore, the Director of General Crimes also explained, the formation of the Anti – Land Mafia Task Force was to dismantle all the protectors behind the existing land problems. This task force was formed at each Regional Police ranks.

 

Previously, Agus Wijayanto, the Director-General of Agrarian Affairs, Space Utilization and Land Affairs, explained that he had provided data on land mafia cases to Crime Investigation Agency. Sixty cases have become the attention of the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning. Of the dozens of cases, at least 40 cases have been discussed with the Anti – Land Mafia Task Force.

 

“We continue to coordinate to discuss everything,” he concluded.
