inp.polri.go.id. – Jakarta. Member of Commission III Indonesian Parliament-Andi Rio Idris Padjalangi appreciates the officer of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Jakarta for arresting the perpetrator who is suspected of burning and insulting the holy book Al Quran which is viral on social media.

“I appreciate the performance of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police. The police must be able to reveal the motives of the perpetrators, especially the perpetrators hacking someone’s social media accounts,” explained Andi Rio.

Andi assessed that this incident should not damage the religious community’s sense of tolerance which has been built up quite well at this time and is deliberately played by someone who is not responsible. And hope that Muslims in Indonesia are not easily provoked and can entrust these problems to law enforcement officials.
