Conducting Random Covid-19 Testing, Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Found 276 People Reactive to Covid-19

inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Up to May 20th, Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police has inspected 11,994 vehicles at the insulation checkpoints. From that inspection, police found 276 people with a reactive result from antigen test.

“The reactive or positive numbers are 276, with further steps taken as follows; 120 went self-isolation, 65 went to Athlete Village (Emergency Hospital), and 91 went to other referral health facilities. 49,148 people are non-reactive. Those people (either reactive or non-reactive) are the Jakartan homecomers”, Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus, said on Friday (21/05/21).

Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said that on May 24th, people are back to the office. Therefore, this weekend, the road will be packed again as home comers return to Jakarta by air, land, and sea, particularly Java and Sumatra.

“Jakarta’s positive rate is rising after the Eid homecoming, so we need to anticipate and requires intervention from the officers such as (intensified) inspection”, Chief Public Relations and Press Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police concludes.
