Prepared for the Indonesian National Chief Police’s Visit, Chief of Central Kalimantan Police Monitored the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) Post and Distributed 1000 Face Masks

In preparation for the visit of Indonesian National Chief Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Commander of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto to the Bumi Tambun Bungai, the Chief of Central Kalimantan, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo directly monitored the micro-scale PPKM post at Jogjakarta Street, Menteng Sub-District, Palangka Raya City, Friday (05/21/21).

In his monitoring visit, Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Ida Oetari Poernamasasi Regional Supervisor Inspector (Irwasda) Police Grand Commissioner Iman Prijantoro, and all the high rank executives of Central Kalimantan Regional Police as well as Chief of Palangka Raya City Resort Police, Police Grand Commissioner Dwi Tunggal Jaladri.

In the occasion, Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police through Head of Public Affairs Division (Kabid Humas) of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Eko Saputro, mentioned the monitoring was aimed to directly overview the readiness of PPKM post, which included the completeness of supportive materials at the Post and the readiness of the officers in charge, considering that the post will be directly monitored by the Chief of Indonesian National Police and the Commander of Indonesian National Armed Forces.

“In his visit, the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police distributed 1,000 masks and two disinfectant sprays. It is expected that the masks and disinfectant sprays will support the team’s duty at the post. I advise to all people to obey health protocal so the spread of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan province can be reduced,” as concluded by the Head of Public Affairs Division od Central Kalimantan Regional Police.
