Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police carry out phase II vaccination activities for journalists on duty at the North Sumatra’s Regional Police.

This phase II vaccine was carried out in the Bid Dokkes room of the North Sumatra’s Regional Police, Friday (05/21/2021).

Before being vaccinated, Herman first briefed journalists about the dangers of the Covid-19 virus.

North Sumatra Regional Police’s Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said that the Covid-19 vaccination phase II was given to journalists to complement the previous vaccines. The event is the government’s effort to break the chain of spreading Covid-19 in North Sumatra.

“The first phase vaccines were 78 people. Today in the second phase, dozens are being vaccinated. We hope that the previous participants will be vaccinated for the second time,” said the Head of PR.

The Head of PR hopes that after vaccination, the immunity of journalists will increase. In addition, the media could convey to the public the effects of the Covid-19 vaccine injection.

“Hopefully, media friends could publish to the public who are still in doubt about vaccines that vaccines are safe and lawful,” said the Head of PR.

Meanwhile, a journalist, Gibson Simanjuntak, appreciated the North Sumatra Regional Police for facilitating journalists as recipients of the Covid-19 vaccine.

“Hopefully, with vaccination, journalists will be healthier and free from Covid-19 transmission. We appreciate the North Sumatra’s Regional Police Chief, Police Inspector General Panca Simanjuntak,” he concluded.
