Manifesting the Indonesian Police’s Operational Transformation, Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police Lead the Coordination Meeting and Anev (Analysis and Evaluation) of Covid-19 Handling in North Sumatera Province

inp.polri.go.id – Medan. The Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police (Kapolda Sumut), Police Inspector General R.Z. Panca Putra leads the Coordination Meeting and Anev of Covid-19 handling in the North Sumatera Province area.

The meeting was held virtually at Tribata Aula of North Sumatera Police Regional headquarter, Thursday (05/20), and attended by North Sumatera’s Communication Forum of Regional Leader (Forkopimda) High-Rank Executives of North Sumatera Regional Police and Chiefs of North Sumatera Resort Police.

In this event, the Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police is committed to improving the handling of Covid-19 in the North Sumatera region as the transformation of Indonesian National Police’s Operational Transformation.

The meeting and anev is aimed to optimize the handling of Covid-19 in North Sumatera Province through cooperation and synergy of Indonesian National Police, Indonesian National Armed Forces and other stakeholders in anticipating the spread of Covid-19.

The two-star general mentioned that the North Sumatera Regional Police and Regional Military Command (Kodam) I/BB has committed to cooperating in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

“North Sumatera Regional Police and Kodam I/BB will keep continuing to work together in increasing the implementation of Justice Ops [a cooperation operation], both mobile or stationer,” as explained by the Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police.

Indonesian National Police (Polri) and Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) are ready to support the implementation of mass vaccination for all the people in North Sumatera to suppress the spread of Covid-19.

The mixed personnel of Polri, TNI and related government bureaus (Dinas) will keep implementing Pos Pam (monitoring post), Pos Yan (service post) and Insulation Post at the North Sumatera border until May 24, 2021.
