inp.polri.go.id – Aceh. Media crews are asked to continue to collaborate with the Indonesian National Police in preventing the spread of Covid-19 through education on Health Protocols (Prokes) to the public.
This was conveyed by the Ache Regional Police’s Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner Winardy through Head of Pub. Information Bureau’s sub-division, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Mulyadi in his press release, Friday (05/21/2021) shortly after the gathering with the press.
The Head of PR of Aceh’s Regional Police said that the prevention of Covid-19 has so far been intensively carried out by the government, especially the National Police and the National Army who have become the front guard both pre-emptively and preventively.
However, he continued, the role of media crews is needed to help educate the public about the importance of implementing health protocols in the midst of a pandemic.
“In our society, there are those who think that the health program is unnecessary, some even do not believe that Covid exists. So here we need the role of the media crew to educate it, ” he said.
In addition, the Head of Public PR of Aceh’s Regional Police also hopes that the media will take part in countering hoax news, especially news about Covid-19, both related to data and facts.
