Ridwan Kamil, welcomed the 110 Police Service launched by the Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at the West Java Regional Police Headquarters, Bandung City, Thursday (05/20/2021), yesterday with the Indonesian National Army Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.
Kang Emil, the nickname of Ridwan Kamil, said that Police Service 110 is proof that the Police continue to provide the best service to the community. The service operates for 24 hours.
“This shows that the Indonesian National Police continues to improve to provide the best for the community. With this service, the public could report incidents that require National Police’s help,” explained Kang Emil.
“Citizens can use this service, but not for fun or false reports,” he added.
As is well known, the Police Service 110 is a service to the public for free (non-pulse) and operates for 24 hours by providing protection, protection and services in an accessible, responsive, and non-discriminatory manner.
Through Police Service 110, the public can call to access number 110 and be directly connected to agents who will provide services in the form of information, reporting (accidents, disasters, riots, etc.) and other complaints.
The Chief of Indonesian National Police said Police Service 110 is the single national number for Police complaint services.
“We carry out this activity in order to improve the form of police services, continuing from the activities that we previously launched and now we hope that we can integrate it according to the Police transformation program towards a Precision National Police, especially in the field of public service transformation, transformation. In the field of operations and transformation in the field of supervision. All of this can be realized and can be felt by the people,” explained the Chief of Indonesian National Police.
In addition, the Chief also conveyed that with the launching of Police Service 110, all public complaints everywhere could be served by the Police quickly and then our members who responded to or received the report could mobilize the members involved in the field to provide services rapidly.
“Of course, we always receive input and corrections related to police services so that in the future, our services will certainly be better as expected by the people,” he added.
At the launch, a simulation of Police Service 110 was shown and the follow-up of their handling by the West Java Regional Police. The National Army Commander, National Pol. Chief and Governor of West Java immediately tried Police Service 110, and the Chief of Indonesian National Police entered into a dialogue with Police Service 110 officers.
