Facilitating the people in Police Service, the Indonesian National Police Chief and the National Armed Forces Commander Launched Hotline 110

Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Indonesian National Army Commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto attended the launch of police hotline service 110 held at the West Java Regional Police’s Headquarter, Thursday (05/2021).

The activity was also attended by the Director-General of Post & Information Administration of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Deputy for Bureaucratic Reform, Accountability, Apparatus and Supervision of the State minister for administrative reforms, and President Director of PT. Telkom Indonesia, the Governor of West Java and its Regional Leadership Communication Forum, the Regional Police, the Military District Commands, and the Directors / GM of Telecommunication Service Providers.

The Indonesian National Police Chief explained that the launch of the National Hotline with a single number was intended so that the public could easily and quickly get service from the police.

“The police hotline number 110 is an effort to facilitate public access and speed up the National Police’s response when the community needs it. It is hoped that in the future, the people will receive National Police services as easily as ordering pizza,” explained the Chief of Indonesian National Police.

Chief of Indonesian National Police that through Hotline 110, the public will genuinely find it easy to get information and share information. In addition, he emphasized to all Head of Regional Unit to optimize maintenance, maintenance of service equipment, increase human resources handling them and increase supervision and control of their operational governance.

“Developing Police Service 110, which is integrated with other applications of the Community Development Online System, Polisiku, and others, so that it can be an alert for members in the field to respond to information from the public immediately,” explained the Chief of Indoensian National Police.

The Chief of Indonesian National Police also emphasized that the matter of ensuring data security should not leak information. This Police Service 110 is also one of the Indonesian National Police Chief’s priority programs. Moreover, within 100 working days, the Chief of Indonesian National Police has delivered these services.

The Hotline 110 device itself is currently recorded at 420 points—namely, one at the Police Headquarters, 32 National Police ranks, and 387 Police Headquarters. The service itself is free for people who need a response from the authorities.
