inp.polri.go.id – Oku Selatan. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Pol. Inspector General Eko Indra Heri, made a working visit to Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency, South Sumatra. During his visit, the Regional Police Chief provided food package assistance to a resident who was undergoing independent isolation due to being exposed to Covid-19.
“This assistance is to lighten the burden a little for Sir Holik, residents of Baturaden Housing who are undergoing independent isolation,” explained the South Sumatra’s Regional Police Chief while visiting the residence in Baturaden Housing, Batukuning Village, OKU Regency, Friday (05/21/2021).
The South Sumatra’s Regional Police Chief alerted residents who are undergoing isolation to stay at home and not carry out daily routines for 14 days. While undergoing isolation, residents must also be diligent in exercising and consuming nutritious food to recover from the corona virus.
On this occasion, the Regional Police Chief also asked local residents to provide moral support for residents who are undergoing independent isolation by not expelling their existence. “Because the support from all residents could encourage and accelerate the healing process,” said the South Sumatra’s Regional Police Chief.
Meanwhile, Holik admitted that he was touched by the visit of the South Sumatra Regional Police while he was in the process of undergoing independent isolation. Holik admitted that he had undergone independent isolation since before 2021 Eid without carrying out social activities and daily routines.
“This assistance from the Chief of Regional Police was very helpful and gave my spirit to recover,” he said.
