Chief of Greater Jakarta metropolitan Regional Police, Polixe Inspector General Fadil Imran held a meeting with Chiefs of Resort Police, Chiefs of Sector Police and Bhayangkara Security and Public Order Builder (known as Bhabinkamtibmas) in Jakarta area. The meeting was also attended by High Rank Executives of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan police and was aimed to strengthen the effort to handle the Covid-19 case when homecomers are returning to Jakarta. This is a priority to prevent Covid-19 case increased in the nation’s capital.
“I command to all Chiefs of Sector Police to collect data of homecomers’ reverse flow at train station and bus terminal in their authority. And to all the homecomers who are back to Jakarta both via train station or bus terminal have to be tested with swab antingen,” as firmly said by Chief of Greater Jakarta metropolitan Regional Police at Candi Bentar Building, Putri Duyung Ancol, North Jakarta, Friday (05/21/21).
Police Inspector General Fadil Imran said to all Chiefs of Resort Police, Chiefs o Sector Police, and Bhabinkamtibmas that they must know every progress of Covid-19’s active cases. “I command to all Chiefs of Resort Police, Chiefs of Sector Police and Bhabinkamtibmas to know every progress of Covid-19’s active cases at their region.”
The two-star general also mentioned there are 276 cases of Covid-19 from the homecomers up till now. The peak of reverse flow estimated will be from May 21-31, 2021. Greater Jakarta metropolitan police still implements insulation for the homecomers headed to Jakarta.
Meanwhile the best data collection for Covid-19 is through strengthening community with 3T (Testing, Tracing and Treatment) and social engineering. If the data shows increasing number, then micro lockdown will be executed and Kampung Tangguh Jaya (Resilient Kampong) will be optimized.
There is also sticker affixing mechanism at the homecomers’ house, i.e. yellow for who homecomers who haven’t returned yet, white for homecomers who are self-isolating), and green for homecomers who are non-reactive, and red for homecomers who are reactive.
Through Sector Polices, Greater jakarta metropolitan police also provide free swab antigen service. Police provides 38,850 swab antigen test. “As general, Covid-19 test for the homecomers need to be increased. Also Chief of Sector Police and the team need to monitor situation in the field, to ensure case from the reverse flow is recorded. KTJ need to be I order that KTJ need to be optimized,” as explained by the Chief of Greater jakarta metropolitan police
