Chief of National Police, During His 100 Days of Priority Programmes, Deemed Able to Restore Case Handling in Indonesia

inp.polri.go.id. – Jakarta. One hundred days of the priority program of the Chief of National Police, Police General Lisyto Sigit Prabowo, is deemed able to create significant changes in several fields, including to promote humanity approach to suppress crime rates. This argument was stated by the National Leadership Council of Indonesia’s Police’s Friends (SPI). SPI records that, during the Chief’s 100 working days, 1,864 cases are solved restoratively.

“SPI appreciates the first 100 working days of the Chief of Police because it has a strong spirit of change to build the Presisi Police (Presisi: Predictive, Responsibility, Transparency, Just)”, Chairman of SPI, Fonda Tangguh, said.

According to Fonda, the era of Listyo Sigit Prabowo as the Chief of Police puts forward more on humanity approach through restorative justice. Therefore, police officers can take special discretion in case solving.

Furthermore, many innovations happened inside the police. One of them is the launch of Dumas Presisi (Presisi Public Complaints) apps. The application is a place of public complaints aiming to build transparency and complaint handling.

“This innovation is created by Indonesian National Police to bring transparency and complaint handling for all Indonesia. It is no doubt that this application may form a precise and measured supervision system by the public.

Besides that, Fonda hopes that the National Police, under the leadership of Lisyto Sigit Prabowo, can make the police better and united with the Indonesian people.

“I hope that, in the future, the police is getting better and better. Therefore, we hope all Indonesians to always hand in hand, uniting with the police to build a Presisi National Police”, Fonda concludes.
