– Jakarta. Chief of Greater Jakarta Regional Police, Police Inspector General Fadil Amri provides work direction to all Chiefs of Sector Police under the jurisdiction of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police at Putri Duyung, Ancol, North Jakarta (05/21/21).
On occasion, the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police stated there are hundred of homecomers back to Jakarta with the status of positive Covid-19 after tested with the rapid antigen.
“Until today, the result of swab antigen activity conducted at Kampung Tangguh (Resilient Kampong) or Sector Police as well as during insulation, there has been 276 reactive,” as he said.
Members of Bhayangkara Security and Public Order Builder (Bhabinkamtibmas) and Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police are asked to monitor community-based 3T (testing, tracing, treatment) post-Eid homecoming.
“Imagine (276 reactive-homecomers), and the cases will multiply when they come home. The number is potentially increased, and it should be the motivation for our fellows to continue their hard work,” as said by the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police.
He also emphasized that the testing should be thoughtfully implemented and the follow-up for reactive to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
“Coordination and collaboration at the community level need to be strengthened. We should not be easily satisfied,” as mentioned by the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Office.
It is estimated that the peak of reverse flow would be on May 21-31, 2021. Insulation is still required for the homecomers who would come to Jakarta and its surrounding areas.
All Chiefs of Sector Police need to record the homecomers arriving at stations and terminal located in their working areas to rapid antigen test implementation.
“Jakarta is not safe yet. We have to be aware of the homecomers. Every homecomer must be tested with swab antigen so that the Covid-19 cases are under control,” as concluded by the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Office.
