Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police Visits People in Kalibata for COVID-19 swab tests

inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Jakarta. Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police held a free rapid antigen test for Jakarta residents who had just returned from their hometowns. This aims to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
“So by testing, we do an antigen swab, we will do it to people who have just returned to their hometowns to return to Jakarta,” explained the Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Direskrimsus), Police Grand Commissioner Auliansyah Lubis.

 

The Dirreskrimsus conveyed that this was a follow-up to the appeal of the government and the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Police Inspector General Fadil Imran, namely to carry out tracing and testing of residents returning to their homecoming. Picking up the ball by doing antigen swabs to residents is also part of an effort to minimize the spike in new Covid-19 cases after the Eid holiday.

 

There are five ward-level areas included in the Kampung Tangguh Jaya (KTJ) program, which is carried out by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police addition to the Kalibata region KTJ. There are also KTJ in Pancoran District, KTJ Lenteng Agung, KTJ Pela Mampang, and KTJ Pesanggrahan.

 

In this free rapid test, there were around 70 residents who had just returned from their village and had participated in this free antigen rapid swab. As a result, until now, there have been no residents returning to Covid-19 reactive homecoming.
“We do it in every KTJ; we do swab like this. This kind of activity is free, free of charge. From that amount, we have not received a positive report,” he concluded.
