During the 2021 Telabang Ketupat Operation, Central Kalimantan Regional Police Secured 12 Suspects Working on the Forgery of Rapid Antigen Certificate

Inp.polri.go.idPalangkaraya. Central Kalimantan Regional Police succeeded to arrest 12 people of seven cases of the forgery case of rapid antigen certificate, Wednesday (05/19/21).

During the 2021 Ketupat Telabang Operation, the suspects were caught at the land border of the interprovincial road in Central Kalimantan. The 2021 Ketupat Telabang Operation was held for 12 days and aimed to secure and monitor the prohibition of Eid homecoming. The operation was undertaken by Central Kalimantan Regional Police and the joint team and succeeded in turning over 2,116 vehicles.

Head of Public Affairs Division of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner\. Kismanto Eko Saputro said a thousand vehicles were turned around as they could not show documents required to enter Central Kalimantan, such as the certificate of RT antigen. They also tried to go through the insulation during the prohibition of Eid reverse flow.

“Most of the vehicles that were turned around were in the Kapuas Regency, and then the rest were in East Barito that connects with South Kalimantan. Then Lamandau dan Sukamara Regency connects with West Kalimantan,” as explained by the Kismanto Eko Saputro.

The Head of Public Affairs Division of Central Kalimantan Regional Police also mentioned that even though the 2021 Ketupat Telabang Operation had ended, the insulation will be extended until May 24.
