inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The reverse flow security post of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police found ten homecomers headed to Jakarta with Covid-19 tested positive. The ten homecomers were then brought to Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran to undergo swab test and isolation.
“There are ten people who are Covid-19 positive. They were brought to Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital (Kemayoran),” as explained bu the Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Inspector General M. Fadil Imran M.Si., in Jakarta, Monday (05/17).
The Chief of Regional Police explained that the 10 positive people were found by the officer at the checking post in Kedungwaringin and KM34 post Jakarta-Cikampek Toll. Up till now, Regional Police had checked 3,325 vehicles at the Reverse Flow Security Post. Meanwhile, the KM 34 monitoring post (PosPam) had checked 2,458 vehicles.
Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police will implement the insulation operation of reverse flow until May 24, 2021. Thie effort is part of the effort to anticipate the spread of Covid-19 after the Eid holiday. The homecomers returning to Jakarta are required to have Covid-19 free certificate.
Police also provides free antigen swab test for the homecomers who can not show Covid-19 certificate. Meanwhile, the homecomers who are Covid-19 negative are allowed to continue their trip to Jakarta, and to those who are Covid-19 positive will be brought to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran to undergo PCR Swab.
