inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Following up the Eid al-Fitr returning wave, Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police is innovating by attaching stickers to vehicles inspected at insulation checkpoints.
Chief of Public Affairs and Press of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police stated that police would attach the stickers for homecomers passing checkpoints. Each region has different stickers, such as East Java, Central Java, West Java, Lampung, and Banten.
This sticker would be easier to identify homecomers’ vehicles, speed up inspection processes, minimise potential traffic jam, and helping personnel on duty doing the inspection.
The usage of this sticker is also eligible to two-wheeled homecomers or motorcycle riders. The officers will inspect according to provisions issued for those who do not have the sticker during passing checkpoints.
“For example, in Keduwangin. We have prepared and conducting swab test for everyone there. It was the first step to stop the transmission”, Chief of Public Affairs and Press of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said.
“If the random (sampling) in a car of six people detected one positive case, all six would be sent to Athlete Village (Emergency Hospital) and will be subjected to PCR test”, Chief of Public Affairs and Press of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said.
