Regional Police’s Chief, Police Inspector General Fadil Imran appreciated Jakarta residents for taking the initiative to put up a banner containing a warning for residents who had just returned from their hometown in order to prevent Covid-19 transmission in the residential cluster.
One of the banners installed in Kampung Tangguh Jaya, neighbourhoods 04 sub-dist. Mangga Dua Selatan, Sub-dist.Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, that is written “Those who have returned to their hometown are required to have a rapid test”.
“That is good, so that residents are aware. We support residents who care about their environment, especially when we invite them not to force them,” said the Regional Police Chief after reviewing the Swab Command Post in Tangguh Jaya Village, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta, Monday (17 May 2021) .
Another banner put up by residents of Sawah Besar, which written “travelers are required to have a COVID negative letter”.
Police Station’s Chief of Sawah Besar, Police Capt. Maulana Mukarom said the installation of banners was an initiative of the residents.
“This is for the sake of Central Jakarta residents, especially healthy Sawah Besar, free from Covid-19,” explained the police chief
Dozens of residents in Sawah Besar District on Monday underwent an antigen test at the Tangguh Jaya Swab Command Post. Most of the residents who underwent the antigen test had just returned from their hometowns.
A Covid-19 negative letter or negative examination results are the main conditions for Eid Traveler residents to return to their homes in Jakarta.
The residents appreciated the free antigen test service facilitated by Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police. Especially in Sawah Besar District, there are 6 points provided in each village.
