Inp.polri.go.id – Serang. Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi, appeals to all homecomers to do health check-up before travelling to avoid Covid-19 spread to non-homecomers.
“To all Eid homecomers, please do the antigen swab test before returning home”, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi said on Monday (17/5/21).
“This test is compulsory, in which it aims to prevent Covid-19 transmission to non-homecomers”, said the Banten Regional Police’s Field Officers.
Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Regional Police also added that Banten Regional Police would implement Intensified Routine Activities (KRYD) to anticipate the returning wave.
“And Banten Regional Police also conducting Intensified Police Activities (KKYD) to smoothen Eid’s returning flow to the homecomers from Merak to Jakarta. In this KKYD, there will be no insulation and turning around policy anymore,” said the 1996 Armed Forces Academy Graduate.
Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi also persuade people to always adhere to health protocols: wearing a face mask, washing hands with soap, observing social distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility.
