After the 2021 Holiday season, Lampung Regional Police Held Limited Coordination Meeting

Inp.polri.go.id – Bandar Lampung. Chief of Lampung Regional Police Police Inspector General Hendro Sugiatni, accompanied by Deputy Chief of Lampung Regional Police Police Brigadier General Subiyanto and Military Resort Command (Danrem) 043 Gatam Brigadier General Drajad Bima Yoga, opened and led a limited coordination meeting with a related government organization. The meeting focussed on discussing the readiness of the effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 due to Eid reverse flow in Lampung Province and was held at Rupatama Lampung Regional Police, Friday (14 May 2021).

Main officials of Lampung Regional Police attended the meeting, the Operation Section Chief of Subregional Military Command, the Chief of Municipality Police, Head of Lampung Provincial Transportation Agency (Kadishub), Head of Lampung Health Agency (Kadiskes), Head of Lampung Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Head of Land Transportation Management Center (BPTD), General Manager of ASDP (Ferry Transportation of Indonesian State Company), and Chief of Bandar Lampung City Regional Police Police Grand Commissioner Yan Budi Jaya.

In his remarks, the Chief of Lampung Regional Police mentioned that in responding to 2021 Eid reverse flow, the activity would be taken on 15 May 2021 as the case of Covid-19 in Sumatra is increasing. He also expected that every government organizations to support one another. The test is mandatory, not random. PCR, swab antigen or Genose test have to be checked, and the rapid test is applicable for 1×24 hours.

“There will be the additional of 100,000 swab antigen test and rapid test. The test kit will be distributed to every post, head of operation bureaus to monitor the distribution and immediately drop at every post. I also demand every post to have the person in charge along with the supervision team. I remind all Chief of Resort Police and Chief of Military District Command to follow up and check the post under their responsibility. Also, as it is a humanitarian operation, a sympathetic operation, so arbitrariness is not allowed. If we have goodwill, God will help us,” as said by the Chief of Lampung Regional Police.
“Every reverse flow from Sumatera island to Java island which passes Lampung Province will be checked at three checkpoints, that is the post at rest area Km 172 B, rest area Km 87 and rest area Km 20B. We suggest for the public to bring required documents as mentioned by Circular Letter (Surat Edaran) from Covid-19 Task Force that Entry and Exit Permit (SIKM), letter of assigment for state civil servant (ASN) and Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI)-Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the statement of Covid-19 rapid test applied for 1×24 hours,” as confirmed by the Chief of Lampung Regional Police.
