Inp.polri.go.id – Papua. The Indonesian National Police (INP) revealed the obstacles in eradicating armed criminal groups (KKB) in Papua. There are two obstacles mentioned, one of which is the KKB which often enters the population.
“Yes, the obstacles, of course, the terrain there is not like this. The landscape is mountainous, right, it requires resources that must be maximal, “said Head of Public Information Bureau, INP’s Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, at the INP Criminal Investigation Board, Monday (26/4/2021).
KKB members who enter the population are difficult to identify. Brigadier General Rusdi said INP carried out the KKB pattern of joining the people to continue to exist.
“Second, these groups often enter the population, disguising themselves as residents. Often joined the residents, hid him. It becomes their pattern for how they can continue to exist there, “he explained.
However, Brigadier General Rusdi ensured that the KKB had no place in Papua. Brigadier General Rusdi emphasized that INP, together with the TNI, was trying to solve the problems caused by the KKB.
“Of course, the security forces, the TNI and INP, continue to work optimally in pursuing the arrests of armed criminal groups. What is certain is that there is no place for a KKB in Papua. INP and TNI, as well as other agencies, are trying their best to solve problems related to armed criminal groups in Papua, “said Brigadier General Rusdi.
