Mobilizing the Best Strength, The Chief of INP Establishes 2 KRI Nanggala 402 Evacuation Posts

The Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo confirmed that until now, the Bhayangkara Corps continues to mobilize its best strength to help evacuate the KRI Nanggala 402 submarine in Bali waters.

The Chief of INP said that his party established two posts to assist the Indonesian Navy (AL) in the evacuation process of Nanggala 402. This was a form of TNI-INP synergy in the incident.

“There are 2 INP SAR posts established, first in Celukan Bawang, Buleleng Regency and the second at Banyuwangi Port,” said The Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Jakarta, Sunday (25/4/2021).

The Chief of INP revealed 331 police personnel with details of 265 East Java Regional Police ranks and 66 soldiers from Polda Bali. The personnel who are deployed will later carry out their duties as related to evacuation efforts.

“These personnel includes the DVI team, Brimob, Polair, Polres, the Trauma Healing team,” said The Chief of INP.
On the other hand, the former Kabareskrim revealed that the two KRI Nanggala crew members were still part of the INP family. Namely, Marine Lt. Col. (P) Heri Octavian is the son of a retired Commissioner Police Imron Haki.

Second Lieutenant Rhesa Tri Utomo S.Tr (Han) is the younger cousin of Police Senior Inspector Maria SN Manafe, located in Sidoarjo, East Java. Therefore, INP will assist them.

“INP will provide both moral and material enclosure to the families of the crew of the Nanggala 402 submarine,” said The Chief of INP.

Not to forget, this former Chief of Banten Regional Police expressed his deep condolences for the sinking of the KRI Nanggala.

“The big INP family and I have always been the leaders of INP, to express my deep condolences for the death of the best soldiers of KRI Nanggala 402,” concluded The Chief of INP.
