If The Quarantine Period Violates, Metro Jaya Regional Police will Take Firm Action to the Indian Foreigners

Chief of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran, will take firm action against foreigners from India if they violate the 14-day quarantine period that is being carried out at hotels in the West Jakarta area. This is done to prevent the spread of the new variant of Covid-19. “Everything is done so that there are no new variants that are still being researched, and all are still running and being processed. Hopefully, Indonesia can be free from the dangers of the virus that is still troubling the world community,” he explained, Saturday (24/4/21).

According to Inspector General Pol Fadil Imran, all foreigners from India came with a limited stay permit (kitas) and business passport when they entered Indonesia. “All the foreigners from India admitted that they felt healthy on the way to Indonesia,” explained the Two-Star General.

However, the Regional Police Chief added this could not be used as a negative guarantee for Covid-19 when it arrives at the destination country or city. Because, on the way, the person could be exposed because he met many people. “All are reported without symptoms, so Medical Staff must watch it out for. They feel healthy, so there is rejection. So we thank you for the support of the Task Force, TNI-INP,” he added.
