The Indonesian National Police (INP) stated that they would monitor laboratories or hospitals (RS) which are predicted to enjoy the benefits of buying and selling negative covid-19 Certificates related to the tightening of the ban on going home.
It is known that the Covid-19 Handling Task Force (Task Force for Covid-19) issued an Addendum to Circular Number 13 of 2021 concerning the Elimination of Eid Al-Fitr Homecoming 1442 Hijriyah and Efforts to Control the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) During the Holy Month of Ramadan 1442 Hijriyah.
This Circular regulates the tightening of the requirements for Domestic Travel Actors (PPDN). Tightening is carried out from D-14, eliminating homecoming from April 22 to May 5, 2021, and D + 7 of eliminating homecoming from May 18 to May 24, 2021.
Head of Public Relations INP Inspector General Argo Yuwono said that his party is ready to prepare officers to monitor hospitals or laboratories if someone misbehaves selling negative covid-19 Certificates.
“Our intelligence is ready to monitor (RS/lab),” said Inspector General Argo Yuwono, Friday (23/4/2021).
Inspector General Argo hopes that the public can report to the authorities if an offer is offered or an illegal negative Covid-19 Certificate is offered without having to test. “We hope the information from the public to the police,” he said.
Inspector General Argo also hopes that all parties, both hospitals, and the public, are aware of the dangers of Covid-19, so they choose to test for Covid-19 according to the health protocol. “Hopefully, there will be no (buying and selling covid-19 Certificates at this Eid),” he explained.
Previously, the police uncovered a forgery of the result of the covid-19 antigen swab test. A Pungging Puskesmas counter officer was named a suspect in the case. The disclosure of this case originated from public information regarding a fake antigen swab test result from the Pungging Community Health Centre.
