Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo held a meeting with the TNI Commander, Ministries/Agencies to discuss the politeness of Ketupat Operations in 2021. The meeting was held to equalize perceptions.
“Today at the INP Headquarters, a coordination meeting was held for several ministries related to the preparation for Ketupat Operation 2021. The coordination meeting equates perceptions and also equates the steps in the field, especially the activities of Eid Al-Fitr 2021,” said Head of Public Information Bureau, INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, on Wednesday (21/4 / 2021).
The meeting, which was held at the INP Headquarters Rupatama, also discussed eliminating the homecoming issued by the government. Brigadier General Rusdi said that common perceptions are essential so that eliminating homecoming, which aims to suppress the spread of COVID-19, can run smoothly.
“If we look at Eid Al-Fitr 2020, there are confirmed positive data for COVID-19, which has increased by 93% and died 63%. Based on the data, the government prohibits homecoming, “he said.
During the meeting, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of Religion, and Head of BNPB Doni Monardo also attended. The meeting was held behind closed doors.
