The Papua Regional Police sent one platoon of joint Mobile Brigade personnel and the Nemangkawi Task Force to Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, after two teachers’ shootings by an armed criminal group (KKB). The personnel dispatch was carried out with the assistance of the Beoga Police in pursuing the KKB.

“We will separate the immigrant community who religious leaders assist in the Beoga District because they see the threat from the KKB, which makes people feel scared,” he said.
“The indigenous people of Beoga and KKB can be distinguished. Therefore, we will also send a team from Nemangkawi to get measurable and well-targeted targets so that Police can overcome these criminal groups immediately,” he added.
